"What a beautiful wedding!", "What a beautiful wedding!" says a bridesmaid to a waiter. "And yes, but what a shame, what a shame, the poor groom's bride is a whore."
I'd chime in with a "Haven't people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!" No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality. I'd chime in "Haven't you people ever heard of closing a goddamn door?!" No, it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of...

So.. Where were we??!! Ohh, were we talking about "The beautiful wedding?!"heheh. Back to where I was driving at. This wedding was my sister's. I really(300x) enjoyed it!.. I'll tell you the whole story but first let me rewind the video tape to help me remember. heheh

The day after my kuya(my sister's husband) proposed, the whole family was pretty excited. This is the wedding of the century(better than Claudine Barreto's hahah). Let me stress out the fact that my sister will be the first to marry in our generation. This fact made the entire Metoda clan dance with excitement. All were busy preparing with the wedding. My titas were busy designing and preparing what they would wear in the wedding while my mom was busy with the reception. UPians know that we students of the University of the Philippines experience "pennilessm"(state of being penniless! hahah). My mom can't think of a place spacious enough to occupy 300 heads but would only cost 300 pesos(approximately 1 peso per head! heheh). Good thing the Froilans(Last name of my kuya and his mom was a former vice mayor!) were good in this subject!
After a few twists and turns, both the families decided to hold the reception at the Grand Convention Asian Hall.
Problems now were not as heavy(deleting the problem of the reception).
Next thing on the list: wedding gown(because my sibling happens to be a gurl!). My sister had her gown designed by Wendell Quisido(I hope I did not mispell his name. If I did, a heartfelt apology to you sir!).
All important things were set now. The invitations, the gifts and all the other important stuffs were already made. All we have to do is to wait for the big day(January 22, 2006)

..!$*cOck-a-doOdLe-doO!!!*$!..

Church bells were ringing not the sleigh bells that Santa insists during Christmas. I slept the night before that at the Northwinds Hotel to have an easy access to Saint Therese Church. I was already set at around 9 am. I had my hair gelled(I don't know how to spell this but that actually meant hair applied with Gatsby Gel(wax)), my pants ironed, my barong sprayed with perfume(Bench Velocity!! heheh) and my Chucks(Converse Chuck Taylor High-Cut shoes) worn when my mom scolded me for wearing them(unfortunately i had to wear leather shoes! huhuh..).
I arrived at the church and did what we rehearsed. I escorted my sister(my other sister to be specific! not the one to be married you idiot!) because she was the bridesmaid and I happened to be groomsman(a very unlikely fact!!). The ceremony went well. Can we skip the ceremony and go directly to the reception??!! I'm kinda hungry..

..$*Fast-forwarding the video tape to the part of the reception!!*$!..

OK!! All is set and ready to go.. The reception was just like any social gathering. The "usual soup first main dish later scheme" and the "do not speak with your mouth full reminders" were still followed. I hate having to be formal. Every little cell in body resists it. If not for my mom's eyes having to follow me throughout the reception, I could have torn my barong into two.
We had three gatherings for the wedding:
1.) at the GrandCon(the one I mentioned a while ago) for everyone invited
2.)at Deca Homes Subd.(our house at Lapu2x) for the relatives of my ate(my relatives too)
3.)at Pardo(my kuya's house) for the relatives of my kuya(whom I don't know)
Our next hang-out was at Deca. I have my cousins all over the house! I could not hide the grin on my face. It was such a gathering! I got to see my long-lost cousins! heheh.. Artsron was there too. We had a great time! My cousins, Artsron and i went to the internet cafe to do some male bonding(Mind you! We did not view pornographic sites! Did that sound defensive??!! heheh). We played till the sun grew tired of shining and the moon had to do the next shift. We arrived at around 7 pm but the house was still full of drunk people dancing to the tune of songs so old I didn't even knew they existed!!! The party stopped at around 11 pm and we had to deliver the stunned chipmunks(my drunk titos) home because we knew if they try to get home with their own they might venture to their favorite hang-out places(KTV bars; ex. Infinity, Black Hole, etc.. heheh). After doing the task of returning the endangered species, Artsron and I went to Surf and Play 2 to finish our blog.. Unfortunately, I forgot my username and the email address i used(because i currently have 10 email-adds and only 5 of them I can remember). So, instead of doing the blog we had our computer class(the term senior boys use to refer to playing counter-strike). We ended the class at around 2 am. I woke up at 5am the next day. Using what i learned from Calculus,... 5 minus 2 equals 3!! 3 hours of sleep!!! Imagine taking a test with just 3 hours of sleep!!!.. Sony Video Player

..!$*oOpPsS!!!*$!..

The film just stopped! Well, I guessed that was all that happened. Got to end this here guys! See you at my wedding!! That will be soon!! Sooner than you'll ever expect!! heheh
